Dustless Blasting

What is Dustless Blasting?

Dustless Blasting is the worlds fastest, most cost effective and environmentally friendly surface preparation tool. It does everything a sandblaster can do, but better.

How does it work?

  1. Water and Media are mixed in the blast tank.

  2. During blasting, water encapsulates the abrasive and coating being removed, preventing them from becoming airborne. The droplets fall to the ground, keeping the surrounding areas clean.

  3. The water adds mass and energy, making dustless blasting more powerful than dry blasting.

  4. Rust inhibitor prevents flash rust for up to 72 hrs.

Why Dustless Blasting?

Dustless Blasting is a form of wet abrasive blasting that efficiently removes paint, corrosion, and coatings from a variety of surfaces including metal, brick, concrete and wood.

  • Automotive: Paint, Rust, and Body Filler Removal, powder coating removal, classic car restoration, and more.

  • Commercial: building exteriors, graffiti removal, line stripe removal, stone etching, and more.

  • Residential: home exteriors, decks, patio furniture, swimming pools, concrete, stone, and more

  • Fleet: Fleet trucks, buses, railroad cars, ships, boats, and more

  • Construction: masonry cleaning, heavy equipment, cleaning, paint stripping, and more.

  • Industrial: Factories, Machinery, metal buildings, tanks, towers, and more.

Almost everything is painted, rusted or dirty. Dustless blasting is a valuable alternative to purchasing new.

Parking Lot Applications

  • Paint Removal

  • Thermoplastic Removal

  • Stain Removal

  • Sealer Removal

  • Epoxy Removal

  • Graffiti Removal

  • Texturizing

  • Exposing Aggregate

  • Decorative Etching

Unlike Grinding, Dustless Blasting will not compromise the lifespan of asphalt.

It is even powerful enough for thermoplastic.

OSHA

  • A wet delivery method, like dustless blasting, is recommended by OSHA to protect workers form potentially hazardous airborne particles.

  • Critical in concrete applications, as the substrate itself can release respirable silica into the air

  • Dustless blasting traps and grounds these dangerous particles, protecting workers and those nearby

EPA Compliant

  • Recycled glass abrasive is environmentally inert and will not harm vegetation

  • Because the dust plume is suppressed, blasting is easily contained. It may be performed near water or in environmentally sensitive areas.

  • The best choice for jobs where compliance to EPA standards is crucial

Grinding V. Dustless Blasting

With grinding you leave behind a “ghost stripe” which will cause accidents and confusion on the roadway or in a parking lot. With dustless blasting you have complete removal of paint with little to no residue remaining.
